Default Scope for M1A

I'm looking for a economical scope for my newly acquired M1a. I already have mounted a high mount scope bracket which allows me to see the front post thru my peep sight. At my age, I only shoot from a bench at 100 yards and occasionally at 300 yards. I can barely see the red bullseye at 100 yards. Any suggestions are welcome. Also, what size objective lens should I be looking for? Thanks...

Do you have a price point in mind? Do you have other scopes, and what power do you use in them if variable?

I have only 1 brand recommendation, Vortex. I own several brands but one can't beat the Vortex warranty

I like the idea of looking at my other rifle scopes. I have a MK4 #1 which has a "rEx" scope on it and no rear sight ,so I'm thinking of moving it. It looks to have a 50 mm objective lens. The only other marking is: 3-9x50.

Leupold has a lower end line and very good optics made in the U.S.A. . There warranty is great. Vortex are Chinese made ! Support the U.S.A. For $200 one can have a 3x9 leupold.
