Not familiar with Flickr, but you should be able to copy the bb code in flicker and paste it into your forum post so the pics are visible in your post.

Default Why so difficult

I use 2 other gun posting forum sites. Both, I write my ad, search my computer files for photos, it uploads them and Im done. Over the years, it has always been a pain to post photos here, but I used photobucket and was able to figure it out. I have not posted in a while, now I have to get a PAID photo bucket account to share photos. Why is the CMP site so difficult when others are just click and go?

Try imgur or postimage, both free sites....

Default Flickr Picture Posting Guide

I have been using Flickr for a long time - think free accounts with limited functionality are available - here is how I make Flickr work for me and CMP Forums!

Here is a way to post pics from Flickr – there may be other ways – but this works for me and my brain. It is not complicated – but may be easier to do on a tablet or desktop than on a phone. It gets a lot easier after a few successful insertions! Here is my pic – a fun board game by Avalon Hill – “Bureaucracy”

Find your picture and

First – make sure the picture has permissions that allow public viewing

Second - Select the “Download this Photo” down pointing arrow, and then select “View All Sizes”

Third – Select the desired size of the image

Fourth – Insert the image into the CMP Forum Box

Please PM me if you need further help
Mike

Mike / MGMKS, Thanks for posting this advice. Regardless of whether "Flickr" or some other hosting site is used, as long as the poster embeds the photos directly into their post, guys like me with ailing non-updatable computers will still be able to view them. However, whenever imgur links (as an example) are utilized, clicking on them will immediately transport me to the imgur website alright, but that is where the fun stops. 99% of the time, the images won't appear, and all I get is a totally steady black screen. Again, thanks for your post. Perhaps more members will attempt to take the avenue you have chosen so that I can once again view what their selling or talking about. I know I'm not the only one out there experiencing this problem, and yes folks, my personal foum settings are, and have always been, perfectly fine. The fault lies with a deteriorating non-updatable computer, and an aging, stubborn, operator!
