Default ID types of clip latches

I am having trouble identifying the different styles of clip latches.

First, for the round. This one is pretty easy since the 'round' end is so pronounced.

Second, and here is where the difficulty begins, is the square front. I have some that look squared while others tend to have a slight roundness to them.

Can someone send me some pictures or tell me of an easier way to id the two?

thanks

Looking at the side of the latch you can't tell if it's round or square. Look at the end where the latch pin hole is. That area is milled flat on a square latch, and radiused on a round one.

How does one get a copy of Larry’s book? Are they in print or is there an electronic version?
