Those look great. That would be fun to go through all of your stocks. Carbine, garand, and 14. That would keep me busy on weekends.

Nice Rick B! Wish you picked these up a few years ago!

Surely, your service will be superior to Fred's (still turns my stomach that he has stolen $$$ from myself and many others, but a$$hats still defend the establishment).

Rick, what's the story with the stock in the first picture? I should probably know this but don't. Is that an early M14 stock that uses a similar buttplate as the Garand?

T44 stock, early M14 essentially.

Ok, I'll be the first dummie to ask. Does an m14 stock fit an m1 garand? I have read a thousand times that the m14 is a " product improved " m1. Does the cut out for a magazine fit the cut out for an m1 trigger group? Sorry if this is a dumb question, but please indulge a newbie. Thanks, Tad

Nope, not going to work. M14 has only one set of legs under the receiver and the oprod is quite different.

If you install an M14 barrel into an M1 receiver and modify the M14 stock and add another ferrule, you can make an M1 receiver fit - I have done it years ago
