You have an early production Rem Rand frame that dates to approx Nov/Dec 1942. 5269 Pistols were made by Rem Rand in 1942. The milled fine checker trigger and mainspring housing on this gun are proper for type I Rem Rands. Early production pistols mostly had large G Colt barrels like this one does, though there's no way to know if this is the original barrel that was simply put into the mismatched Colt slide. The original finish would have been DuLite blue for the Rem Rand parts, the Colt slide would have been parkerized. The Colt slide dates to after ~August 1943 when Colt stopped numbering slides.
