Ok, I sent this info to MiDodgeguy but will post it here as well in case there are some closet machinists out there that want to play.

Also, I am currently sourcing the swivel screw, nut and washer and will post the info when I get a chance.

Orest, sorry for the bandwidth eating pics but it was necessary to get the detail.

Notes:

All dimensions taken on the painted surface (it does not appear to be powder coating). I have access to a paint coating thickness gage if necessary but the coating does not appear to be more than a couple of mils thick.

Since these are cast they are not exactly round and the sling swivel recess hole is not exactly round so I averaged the measurements. The averaged measurements are marked Avg., true dimensions are marked without the qualifier.

The 2 round dimples adjacent to the screw hole are very shallow and I could not easily get an accurate dimension. In reviewing presidentg's picture I noticed his does not have those dimples so it may not be necessary to duplicate them.

I estimated the break edge radius since I only have a set of digital calipers in my desk at work.

It's a team effort since we are all in the same boat. Between 2-3 of us we should be able to crank these things out. I just hope we don't have to make 800 of them to cover all the CMP rifles..........

MiDodgeguy is actually doing the tedious work with the 3D model and "g" code, I got off easy with pics, paint and screws

Y'all are good. Every one has their specialty. I can't do much more than run a spray can of Krylon. I ordered a USMC and then this morning ordered a heavy barrel, just couldn't stand it.

Well, since you obviously don't need 2, I'll take that old USMC version off your hands.......

JWA, Great job on all the handstop stuff. It amazes me how much knowledge is around this forum. I truly am impressed . You wouldn't get this on your everyday forum.

I recieved my NOS assembly today that I had ordered from a hole in the wall gunshop I found. Total was $59.60 to my door. I told the guy to let me know if he can get any more - he did say it was a possibility.
