Default Preposterously Unbelievable!

So, we should believe that CMP is claiming those who haven't heard anything can be expecting the rifle of their dreams and waiting patiently while those who have been contacted are out of the running. Or, in other words, CMP is notifying those who were unsuccessful instead of the ones who were.

I think that information must have been from the alter ego of CMP we have been warned about. You know, the one OREST claims is bogus.

Simply another example of trying to deal with the frustration of not having heard anything other than the DBU - when others, with a later DBU, are getting their rifles.

As I tell my son - "Sometimes, humor isn't appropriate."

Well the easiest way to do that is to collect unemployment till it runs out, then go on welfare till the day you die! No more income taxes ever!

I am guessing as DBU's went out; orders were put in a big stack. The stack was then split up between many CMP employees to process. Some employees just input orders. While one multi tasks, answering the customer service phone line, and processing orders when not on the phone. My order ended up on that person's desk. THats how i am picturing it in my mind anyway.

Was there a limit on the number of a certain model you could buy? I needed 2, and haven't heard of anyone getting more than one. Did I miss the fine print somewhere? I didn't see a limit listed.

Each individual was limited to only 1 Rem 40XB and Win 52C. Everything else was unlimited.

Katina, i think it was just the 52C and 40X heavy that was limited to one, kind of after the fact. I am not positive.

Starting to get nervous. I was one of the early birds and got my DBU on the 16th notifying that my order was received on the 13th and since then, nothing. No phone call, no email, nada. Kinda irks me that people who received DBU's days after mine have already received their rifles.
