Default Amherst Depot parts

Does anyone have experience dealing with Amherst Military Depot? They advertise USGI M1 Carbine parts. Some are advertised as reproductions. In your experience, are the others actual WWII vintage parts or reproductions made to spec?
Thanks.

I have purchased M1 carbine bolt components like firing pins, extractors, and ejectors and all were as advertised. They had excellent communications. I think is a small company, so don't expect email or phone responses back in a matter of minutes. I was very happy with what I received and I thought their parts were a good value and not overpriced.

It's been a while since I bought from them, but I had a good experience. Everything was USGI as advertised. On one order, I had ordered a trigger housing type that wouldn't have originally had the oil hole, and they called me to inform that the housing they had in stock was modified to include the hole and did I still want it? Now that's an experienced person pulling the parts and the attention to detail was very much appreciated.

I haven;t bought any carbine parts but did get some for 1903s. Seemed liked USGI parts, had no issues over a few times ordering.

I will second what the others have said about Amherst Depot. Over the years have placed orders with Amherst for various rifle parts. Have always been very pleased in my dealings with them.

Jay is a great guy. If he says repro it is. If he says USGI, it is USGI. I have bought several things over the years and have always liked his products.

Ditto, He sets up at most of the shows in west central Florida and is an honest former marine.
