2014 Fleet Force Command Pacific & All Navy Matches completed

The matches are done and fun was had by all !!!!

This was my first Navy match and everyone was pleasant and helpful and as you can imagine, there were a lot of good shooters there !!!!

Camp Pendleton is as beautiful as ever.

Sharply run matches, on time, with happy, and fast, people in the pits.

Had some strong winds and hot temperatures, then depending on your relay/day, some calm winds...shoot fast when conditions warrant it!

Can't wait for next year and if you are on the edge considering whether to go or not next year...go...you will not regret it.

What did you shoot, and how did you do?

I was there too. The winds were some of the toughest that I have seen.

Hi Craig and 4-Gun wish I could have met you and introduced myself.

I did ok Craig. I shot my AR. Some people shot the M 14 and one man had a Garand. My shooting partner, a retired commander, taught me a lot about the wind and the mirage and it helped me on Friday's EIC and I shot a 440. I do not think it was good enough for any points but great fun was had by me and all I saw there also.
You really should attend next year.
I also found out they would have let us stay in the barracks and eat on base too. Next year I am going to do that.

Maybe next year then. I can be the one guy who shows up with a Garand.
