My two kits arrived today. I was very pleased with both kits. Stocks were in good shape and both had the rubber buttpad. They appear to be walnut.

Lots of finish left on the metal parts. Both oprods looked to be in good shape. They should build up into nice rifles.

Hard to say. They are parked and look pretty good but the only marks on them are what appears to be a drawing number.

Now no one shoot the messenger here but .......

One look at LRB prices , receivers, barrels, etc etc and what it takes to complete one of these kits makes for an expensive scenario. Far cheaper to buy a M1A out of the box from SAI or a used one for 1200 bucks that is little shot and not a pile of parts. Yes...LRB has good stuff but I think you got to be someone who builds projects w/o expenses mattering to be a customer of these kits. Logic aside, yes you can and with money no issue, have at it.
