No, that was one of the first red flags.

The scammer requested I pay via the same electronic method I had used with this same seller in the past so it didn't worry me. It seemed normal since I used the same payment method with this seller for our last transaction. When I went to execute the online payment I caught that the payment email address was different and called the seller.
