Default Shipment info on pistols
The vast majority of colt letters will show shipment to Springfield Armory. If you post your serial number ( with the last digit left off if you prefer) I can look up in my clawson big book and tell you if it shipped anywhere interesting

I don't mind helping Major out. Maybe it's worth a separate thread like the SRS one? I'm sure those of us with the books wouldn't mind looking when time allows.

Somewhere between 3/17/44 and 3/28/44 to Springfield Armory. Interestingly, 1194242 and 1194477 went to the Army Inspector of Ordnance at Flannery Bolt (the barrel maker) in Bridgeville, PA on 3/21/44.

Unfortunately nothing between 600,000 and EOP at 629,500 is listed in the Colt records.
