Default Price of CMP Rimfire Rifles

One of the guys at our local smallbore league is interested in buying one of my CMP smallbore rifles. All still have my CMP paperwork, and all are in good shape, all have original handstops. Any guidance on price would be appreciated.

1) Win 52D U.S. electro pencilled, 7/8 barrel, full rail
2) Rem 40X, straight bolt, U.S. roll marked, 3/4 barrel, short rail at fore end
3) Rem 40XB, bent bolt, U.S. roll marked, 7/8 barrel, full rail

I also was wondering on the price for Redfield Olympic and International rear sights and Redfield Olympic front sights.

Any help would greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Jack

The prices for sights are still listed on the surplus rimfire sales page even though they don't have any for sale.

International rear w/o apperature $155
Olympic rear w/o apperature $100
Olympic globe front w/ apperature $29

Last offering the 52D was $550 w/o sights; the 40X $400 for standard barrel, $475 for 40XB w/ heavy barrel.

I remember Rem 40X's to be around $325 at the North store years ago. Mossberg 44's were $75.

Thanks everyone. This is about what I figured: around $1000, a little more for the 52, a little less for the 40Xs.

Thanks,
Jack

That was the price I paid for my Mossberg 44... plus $20 shipping. I also had to buy a magazine. Mine was refinished but came with the Lyman 57 rear sight and shoots very accurately.

I was also at South Store in October, 2011, when the .22 rifles were released on-site only. I bought a Remington 513, Savage-Anschutz 64S and a Remington 540X. They cost $163.50, $218 & $436 respectively.

Default The Golden Era 2007-2013

The Mossberg 44's were the deal of the day back in the day.
Most of the incompletes (without sights) were around $70.00

I was there for the last great hurrah for the .22's. South Store was packed with both rifles and customers. It was a mad house.
Got there at 3:00 am and was number 28 in line.

Great thing about the south store of old, they at least used to have a large selection to choose from then. 150 to 200 rifles... Do not have a clue why they changed the South Store.

Prices have since gone up and selection a bit more doubtful. Dont know if Id be all that motivated to make that trip anymore. Its s 6 1/2 hour drive one way for me. Plus I hear Leon is no longer there... What a great guy.......
