Default New to me M1A

Circa 1993 or so 72XXX range SN....













Barrel is a TRW








First group of 9 was high right, than I made an adjustment and had 10 low left, last adjustment got me ten pretty well centered....

Looks like paradise. Great find! Do they have any more like that and is it in Mass? Tombstone maybe?

Would you mind relaying what you had to give for this fine specimen via PM? Getting ready to jump on a GB, but not real sure of the going prices yet.

Do they still exist?

They used to be right on Rt 20 in the center of town.

Talk about Moisin Nagant knowledge.......

Bron moved to another shop a little more west on Rt 20 a few years ago. Still in Sturbridge.

A few questions from a new M1A owner.

1. The few parts pictured above I assumed to be GI surplus. Looking through the classifieds last night I saw what was described as a GI Springfield Armory trigger housing that appeared to be marked same as mine. Are the op rod and trigger housing GI or are those SAI parts?

2. I need some accessories. I want to get a set of the plastic GI protective covers - usually includes muzzle protector, sight protector and op rod handle cover.

Ill need a Bore guide - assuming Deweys will have one. Likely will scour WTS section for a spare extractor/ejector and maybe a few springs.

Any direction from the experienced?
