M7 bayonets back in e-store

All five of mine that arrived today are 3/77 repack dated with metal reinforced tip M8A1 scabbards and probably BOC bayonets based on the tang lightning cuts and the right angle ricassos.

Second order of 10 on 04/26/2022 - arrived 05/12/2022
All 10 BOC
7 are repacked with 5 M8 altered scabbard
3 are sealed plastic DAS stamped packaging with true metal tip M8A1 scabbards (1 with string lanyard)


First order of 10 had 9 BOC and one 1974 Imperial
7 were repack - 4 M8 altered scabbard and 3 true M8A1
3 were sealed plastic DAS stamped packaging (these three had lower profile outer box) compared to repacks.

Do the altered M8 scabbards have the webbing cut and stitched longer or a new hanger entirely?

Neither, but I do have access to a security X-ray scanner.

From what I see, the wire hook was put through the original belt loop and a multiple stitch was added to hold in place. On most the thread is a slightly different color. The bayonets themselves are excellent and I am happy to have them. Most of the VCI wrapping is dated '67 or '68. I highly recommend to purchase.

Did you measure the length of the hanger to determine if it’s the original M8 with a hook sewn in or a new A1 hanger?
