Default NIW 0-66 USMC M1 coming up!

For those of you who are fans of the 0-6x USMC rebuilds, the best of the best is coming up for auction just in time for the holidays! A NIW, untouched O-66 rebuild! I've blown my budget through 2024, so I'm out of the running for sure.
Beautiful rifle, intact markings, A++. http://cmpauction.thecmp.org/detail....-66-SA-2223172

Good luck!

I can follow your link, but how do you browse the future listings?

With the recent Mod 0, 7.62 listings, it makes you wonder where they are coming from and how many more are coming to auction.

Its been "repacked" since 1999...

Probably opened and inspected for corrosion then repacked in new VCI wrapping.

A remarkable rifle that I believe will give the recent Winchesters a run for their money in terms of final bids.

Question

What are we thinking, 10-15k hammer price?

I see nothing special about this rifle, just like any other dry SA or Letterkenny rebuild. Its more valuable than the boxed 1996 lottery M1Ds??? What in the world am I missing here???

For one it has the grease pencil markings on it which is typically associated with the Marines Corps rebuilds. It has the USMC rebuild O-66 marking on the receiver. Basically an unused USMC rebuild. I bid on it but I'm done now.

It could possibly hit this range, already over 4k.

I don't know what it may go for, but as far as I know this rifle is unique. There are many more lottery D's, SA and HRA unissued, matching C's, pristine LEADS, "correct grade" etc. Then again, CMP might have found a crate load of them in the US rifles they still hold. I guess we'll see.
