I finally finished building my M1 Carbine. It is an IBM carbine. Serial number 3,939,xxx. I got the receiver and stock from members of the forum. The rest of the parts were acquired through a What A Country parts kit.

Default My $125 M1 Carbine

A friend sold this to me, about 10 years ago, for $125. It was painted a hideous beige color.
It's an Inland, serial number is probably early 1945.

Looks like the stock exhibits the Bavarian characteristic of the last 4 of the serial in the sling channel.
