Got my refinished M2 Pot Belly back from Mr. Roach in today's mail. It looks very good. Nicely but not too aggressively sanded. Some wood filler used in a couple spots and one deep gouge cut out and filled with a piece of closely matched wood. He also refinished the butt plate and recoil plate. Overall I am quite surprised and pleased.

Glad you're happy with it. If you get a chance, I'd like to see some photos of the stock, especially the repairs. That sort of craftsmanship is interesting to me.

Here are a couple "overview" shots. I will try to get some better ones/close ups of some areas tomorrow.

FA stamp done per request for my Fulton Armory Carbine.

Very nice! I really like the red cast to it.

Thanks for the pics.

The color is good although his dye is a little thick in spots. It should look really nice after I take the time to rub it down with some Linseed oil.

A few more pics.

General dent repair. Repairs to top and bottom of oiler slot.

Patch to chipped/gouged area.

Cracks glued shut. Note old brass pin repair from some point in the stock's history.

Me, too. Especially when considering how dirty and plain the wood was before his work.
