Default BUEHLER Safety

I'm cleaning up and old Remington 1903 SN 31708XX that has been sporterized and noticed the safety looks commercial it is marked BUEHLER. Anyone have any information about this?

Joe

A very common after-market upgrade back in the 50’s for sporterizing milsurps.
It would allow safety engagement under a scope.
I have two on my remodeled Mausers . . . .one milled, the other a casting . . .both marked Buehler.

Thank you Jim, would you happen to know much about the Marlin 4X MICRO-power scope? It is my late Uncle's rifle that wasn't stored very well for years. The bore looked horrible but cleaned up very nice with not much pitting. Thanks again
