Default Recently inherited M1 Carbine

Hello everyone, I am a new member to the forum and I am looking for some helpful information regarding a M1 Carbine I inherited. I am in no way looking to sell this gun but I am looking to gauge its value. The M1 in question is an Underwood Elliott-Fisher with a Muzzle rating of 1+, a Throat reading of 2+, and a Rifle grade R017service. It was given to me in a CMP gun case so I assumed that this would be a great place to start learning more information on this beautiful relic of the past.

I can post photos for enthusiasts if yall would like them as well.

CMP originated service grade Underwood. Probably $1100-$1200 depending on what kind of stock is on it, condition and internal parts would be retail pricing. A replacement birch FAT stamped stock would go for less than a USGI.

Current prices for basic rebuilds I would say are around $1300+. Never under $1000k anymore.
