Purchased my first Garand from Woolworths back in 1980. It was a six digit Springfield that had been rebarreled in 64. Finally pulled it out of the safe, put a new stock on it started loadin for it and shootin it. Now I'm hooked. Ordered a field grade first week in August, 21. Still waiting to hear something on that, so earlier in the week I ordered an expert. Read the forum all the time and am really impressed by the amount of knowledge and devotion to preserving these incredible rifles.

Welcome to the forum BrownXT, I wish I had a Woolworths like that when I was young. If you want to shoot your garage in a match they schedule them in the summer at Central Jersey Sportsmen's .Regards, Eddie

Thanks epm I'll check into Cental Jersey Sportsmens. I'm down south in Cape May and shoot often at Bayshore Sportsmens Club.
