Default Roosevelt Match in future

Is the Roosevelt Match discontinued at Camp Perry just this year or permanently?

Just this year, it is back on 2022-2025 calendars they've already published.

Looks like they finally figured out that all the GSVMM and Roosevelt marches could be fired together since the course of fire is identical. A good formula and hopefully one that will insure the Roosevelt match continues. Now, if the electronic targets can be incorporated into the matches........ Goood Shooting. ...

Yeah! Sort of, '22 calendar looks good, but '23-25 look same. Did not know they mixed the Roosevelt into the rotation. (previous version of 22-25 calendars still had it separately). More than a few of us have commented to Christie and Christina that we should be able to shoot the Roosevelt along with all the other 200 yard only matches that go on for 2 1/2 days. So now you have 5 matches to shoot 5 guns! When it was Friday morning only it conflicted with other matches. Well done CMP. Hopefully the 23-25 calendars will get updated as well.

I understand time constraints may not allow but it would be nice to add the Roosevelt match to the travel games for us working stiffs that can't make it to Perry

The point here is that the Roosevelt match does not require its own time slot. Adding the Roosevelt to a travel games schedule should be a no brainer. Good Shooting. ..

Last I heard, kongsberg was on back order building the target for the CMP. It's also my understanding that the problem with running that many etargets, is having adequate IT staff on hand for problems. You could definitely crank out the games matches on etargets. In theory could run 2 relays every hour and half.
