Default 10x Unertl scopes

We occasionally put up sequential serial numbered Unertl Scopes. Would there be any one interested in seeing 3 in sequential order?

IMHO, the price actually seems to go down on the sequentials because fewer people can afford 2 at once as opposed to one. There's been some discussion about the price of the sequentials over on the M40 Forum (where everyone builds clone M40A1s with the 10x Unertls on the McMillan USMC return stocks), and pretty much everyone seems to think there really isn't a market with any price bump for the sequential scope. I have bought several at the auction, including one pair, and the pair came cheaper than 2 singles. So my view is that 3 of them at a time would just cost the CMP more lost revenue. Moneys tight for such luxuries now in some parts. Thanks for asking though...

I would like to see it but like the other poster, would bet that three would bring in less per than two.

I think there might be some interest if someone was planning to clone a few M40A1's and A3's. The number of potential buyers would probably be reduced though. For me, the the looks of the scopes would probably weigh in more.

Just from some of the serial numbers I've observed, there seems to be no shortage of sequential numbers. I noticed that one run of 10 sequential serial numbers in the 5100 range has been sold.

I am wAiting on one particular number to come up. I can't afford 10 grand or more to buy three to get it.

I have considered bidding on one of the 10x scope, but i am unsure what rifle(s) I could use this scope in competition TMP and other ranges. Appreciate any feedback you may be able to offer..

Also, I haven't seen anyone offering M40s, and would be interested in this a well if you have info.

I have no idea on what can or can't be used in the vintage sniper competition, but the scopes were used on the M40A1. I have seen a few USMC test sniper rifles, 2 barrel receivers one complete M40 and one M40 clone sold on the CMP auction.

Yes, someone will buy it. Yes it should be less than buying three separately.
