In order to be able to purchase an auction rifle you need to be a member in a CMP affiliated club, provide the marksmanship requirement and fill out the paper and pass the background check. Prices vary widely.

Default For CMP Brian

Hi Brian,
Just curious but can you tell me the winning bid on the Springfield receiver SN 8911? A friend of mine has a parts Garand with a four digit receiver on it.

Thanks,

Doug

Not Brian, but ......

The short answer is $460.

If you want to know how to build a watch ( ),

Here is the thread for the auction http://auction.odcmp.com/auctions/detail.asp?id=1962

You can find completed auctions by doing a search, then clicking the "completed" button at the top.

Then if you click the arrow on the "Ends" column it will give the latest completed auction first.
