Default kingston garand value

I am thinking of selling my kingston garand in 22 but have not seen them for sale in a while. What are they worth?

Don't know if you know this, but the company went out of business after only 2 years, making only 3000 units. Then sold off all the remaining parts. Originally I believe they were around $650. Wish I could help you with a price check, but the above factors will have an effect on what you get for it. Maybe positive, maybe not..I'm betting (hoping) you will get your money back at least. They do have a high cool factor.

Hi Old Ironsides,

I hope your rifle works! A local serious match shooter bought one for the cool factor too. Sadly, it just did not function or shoot well.

I met Kingston's owner at the SHOT show & explained the various issues with him. We had sold the owner the rifle! We try to help if a problem with a manufactures develops. To say the least, he was totally uncooperative!
I even had a coworker take a a picture of us talking
.The best I could get from him is that he would give the owner a call. At that point I told him no one has ever called him back & he was tired of leaving messages. This was the reason I approached him in the first place!

The rifles owner NEVER received a call for anyone connected with KINGSTON. He had a local gunsmith work on it.

Good Luck with the rifle & hope you can get a good price for it,
broom

mine has not had any problems. I have not shot it much. The only thing is one of the allen heads that holds the upper hand guard must be loose as the end piece wobbles but has not affected accuracy or function.

It should be fine, it is a ruger receiver with ruger magazines.

Hi Sir,

I'm glad to hear that your rifle functions well. You may want to see if you can locate who bought up the spare parts & buy any parts, you may need in the future.
Check GunBroker & Auctionarms for the going prices on them,

Good Luck,
broom

I have seen one on gun broker with an asking price of 1200. I donít think it sold though.

I love mine. It is super cool and not many around. I canít imagine selling it.
