Someone has asked just what is a barrled action. It is an M 1 Garand reciever, barrel and bolt and that is all you get. The barrels are as new with the bolt headspaced to the new barrel so I think that is a great deal. I can't wait to see them tonight when I get home from work. I will take some pictures right away and folow up wit soe detaileed pics too. I suprised that someone got a Danish Garand. I thought the CMP was all out of those.

Well, I have too many HRA parts and stocks.

So I ordered a HRA field grade.

Now have a Dr Apt at 0830 tomorrow.

Sprayed the garden, and the fruit trees today. I smell like bug meds.

Of course, CMP wants to send me the HRA tomorrow. Around 3 or 4 PM. Hope the doc lets me out in time.

Still have to go to Moms and feed the dogs tonight.

Here is the stats:

Mailed: 16 May 12
Rec: 18 May 12, per DBU and Del Conf. 2 days
DBU: 29 May 12. 11 days
CC hit: 6 Jun 12, 8 days
Estore: 6 Jun 12
Ship: 12 Jun 12, 6 days
Rec: Tomorrow.

HRA 4689xxx, my first 4.6, 1953 I think.

Busy day tomorrow.

Less than a month. It will not be this fast once the games start.

You all have a great day, I already have.

Got them all today. Boy am I impressed to death to say the least. CMP you guys are awesome.
The one SA has a muzzle reading of 1 and a throat of 4, and now the good part, an original barrel, I think original to this rifle maybe. Lock Bar rear sight and new CMP walnut. I still have to clean it up and check all the parts but it is nice. The H & R is all original including G. I. walnut stamped as it should be, I'm sure it has been re parked once, barrel is dated to the action, bolt is an SA. And the barreled action only had pitting under the rear porch area and at that a very small area. Very nice rifles. Thanks You CMP.
I will try my hand at posting pictures from my Photo bucket site tomorrow.
