Sure, click on tools and they will magically appear before your very eyes. Just kidding. I think they have been there right along. I got mine there a few years ago.

I keep clicking on Tools Comm. but only see .30 (carbine), .308 and 30-.06. I was shocked the last 23 times I have done that! Am I missing something? Oh, BTW, I checked at the NS, too - no joy.

Ok , now that you have gotten to the tools page. Click on the .308 winchester guages and see what comes up for a photo of said guage. You will see that they are 7.62 NATO guages produced by Clymer.

Oh, now that's interesting! The description says '.308 Winchester' but the picture shows a Clymer guage marked BOTH .308 Win AND 7.62 NATO! I'm going to call Clymer again tomorrow and ask them about that! Thanks! I never got past reading the description on the estore page before.

I checked the Clymer .308 gauges I have (their Model 812 set; Match specs.). The Go is 1.630" and the no-go is 1.634." They do NOT say 7.62. What dimensions are marked on yours from CMP marked 7.62? Are they marked both 7.62 NATO and .308 Win like the ones in the pic on the estore website?

That's easy, go is 1.633 and no go is 1.640. Dimensions are not marked on the guages. I am chambering all my M14 type rifles to the NATO go guage.

Art-

Do you know if those are the ones being used by the CMP armorers to set up the .308 Specials, by any chance?

Forster, I use several of theirs (especially the 7.62x51 since it's as accurate as the USGI gauge or actually better). But if you're around these rifles, have the .308 and 7.62 ones, you'll need them. PS, strip the bolt when you headspace.
