Lived in Anchorage from 1990-2000, before K-Mart, Wal-Mart etc. Diamond mall and Fred Myer was the only game in town.

Russian River used to be a blast, we would take the last ferry across and fish all night long, no crowds or combat fishing drama. Heard it's not the same anymore.

Used to be a Gun shop on Muldoon that we had some rather crude nick names because of their reputation. I do recall the best gun shows ever used to be at the Palmer and Wasilla High school IIRC.

I do miss it and possible career change make take me back in that direction.

Tim
I am interrested but, have never had the oportunity to shoot in one. Febuary would probably be a good time. I will have to look over the guidelines to get smart. I know my Garands are as issued USGI , so I think they are legal as is but, do not know how much M2 is needed. Please keep me posted.

Default JCG match

Each shooter needs about 40 rounds. Ammo is provided. Loaner rifles will also be available. Match will have an entry cost. It has not been set. CMP will probably provide HXP for the match.
This is a recreational match and all shooting experience levels are welcome. For folks new to the CMP this match will help them meet the requirements needed to order a rifle. I'm working on the CMP paperwork now and hope to have it submitted before the end of December.

Default JCG match Feb. 24

I hope to have this match on the 24 of Feb. I still need to dial in the cost and figure out how much the entry fee is going to be. With help from the CMP on ammo it should be pretty reasonable.
