Club Members and Guests,

The M1 for Vets Rifle Club will hold it's final match of 2009 on Sat, Dec 12th and Sunday Dec 13th.

Our range is located in Statesville, NC. It is about 6 miles from the intersection of I-40 and I-77. There are campsites and portajohns on site. The range is 200 yards with 20 shooting positions.

Schedule includes:

0800 Registration and set-up
0900 First relay

AM Course of fire 2 relays
30 rd CMP Garand/Springfield/Vintage course A

Lunch ($5) Homemade corn chowder by Mrs. O'Shea. Drinks, sides and some treats to follow.

PM Course of fire
2 Man rapid fire (20rds each on one target) 2 rapid strings prone @ 200 yards on a mr52 target. Repeat as time allows.

PM 100 yard 40 rd Carbine match (M1 carbine, any sight m16 carbine, SKS, AK, any safe carbine style rifle)

Evening - overnight campout, steak roast, beverages. BYO food, gear.

You do not have to shoot both days. Cost per match shot is $10. Active duty NO CHARGE.

We will have ammo for sale(HXP .30-06) for the rifle matches at .30rd. No large sales, just enough for the specific match.
