Default Free match this saturday 9-14-2013!
Hey guys,

I need some help cleaning up the range this Saturday, September 17, 2013. I will be giving a range tour next Tuesday to a couple of very important people. These guests will be flying in all the way from Ohio and Alabama so I want to make a good impression. So here is what I had in mind.
  • Meet at the 200/300 yard shed at 9:00am with our weed whips, sickle bar cutters, rakes, hip boots/waiters and any other power tools we may need or think we need.
  • Work on cleaning up the range for no more than a couple of hours if that. The work will mainly be cutting down the weeds in front of the firing lines and around the targets in the pits.
  • Once the range is all cleaned up we will have a Military Match. No charge to anyone that helps to clean up the range. That’s right a FREE MATCH! We will even hand out CMP pins to those who earn them.
So who can I count on to give me a hand?

What time should I be there? Bringing Weed whacker with brush blade, weed whip with weed blade, chainsaw, old push mower we can beat on. Also have a light tiller attachment for weed whip if that would be useful.

Will have to shoot either the M39 or K31 with military ball as I haven't had time to make up any handloads.

I was up there today cutting a few more lanes down between 200 & 300. That area is dry. I can't say much for the area in front of 200. Boots are always a good idea. I can't be there on Saturday because of a hockey commitment. Have fun.

Assuming we're still on even if it's just me and Tom. Will check again in the AM, post before 7:30 if not, otherwise I'll be there at Oh-nine-hundred. Think I'll give the M39 some range time.
