Default carbine lubrication

picked up my first carbine today at north store. got a nat postage meter. started to clean it up, but where and how do you lubricate? is it the same as a garand? any links or info will be apporicated. working on pics now. thanks, dave

Pretty much like a Garand. I only use axel grease on the locking lugs, op rod slide areas, and any other place showing shinny metal.

Leave the trigger group alone after putting a drop of oil on the trigger pin.

That will answer your question + a lot more good info for the new carbine owner.
