New guy

Hi Folks
I'm a new member and thought after six months of lurking I should post something.

After selling all my guns in the early 90's ( was fishing to much and shooting just took a back seat ). Last year with all the craziness in our Country I rearmed. It's been costly and fun. I found YouTube and all the info and viedos lead me to the CMP. I'm not a collector but a hobbyist of WW2 forward.

So I've lover learning about the M1Garand and on a mission to pick up a
M! Carbine. I've enjoyed learning from all of you and reading your threads.
I missed the Draft by two years and never served but have the greatest respect for all of you that have.

I'm also in the Lottery for the M!1911 but have a really high number in the high 31.000's so not holding much hope.
But would be honored to own one.

As you can tell I have the writing skills of a three year old.
