Default SA LEAD Service Grade arrives

Worth the wait! First mail order received! Thanks CMP!

I received this SA LEAD rebuild yesterday. I am by no means a pro, but from rooting around in the search threads, I believe it has some pretty nice parts, and a LEAD stock. All input appreciated, I'm trying to learn as much as I can about this rifle.

As sure as God wears sandels that's a LEAD ink stamp. Snap a pic of the proof P to remove any doubt. Great score. Has the silverish finish with darker sight knobs as well.

Great looking rifle. I'm very fond of the the LEAD rifles. Also, love the crisp rack number. Great score!

Another iconic LEAD! Congrats as you might not know yet how fortunate you are. Take a deep breath to appreciate the absolute care and craftsmanship. Rack number is a nice addition. Be careful not to wipe away the triangle stamp. If you want it as a collectible DO NOT do anything to it other than run a patch thru the barrel. If you want it as a shooter it will be a doozy. Look in the butt trap you might find a nice complete cleaning kit inside. Do not swap any parts. Can you take a close up of the blue tag?

Congrats on an amazing rifle! Excellent rack number on the stock. I recieved a Service Grade H&R a few months ago with a very similar style/size/font number, but on the left side of the stock.
