Default Trimble TN stock

Keepers of the Collective Wisdom:
Midway WRA carbine SN 1136XXX has a Trimble TN stock with an NPM cartouche (looks like F something A under NPM). I recall seeing somewhere that at some point some (1500 sticks in my mind) of these Trimble stocks were sent from NPM to WRA. Would those stocks have been stamped "NPM" before being sent to WRA? Any chance this stock might be original to the weapon? I have a friend with a WRA 114XXXX with the same Trimble TN stock with an NPM cartouche. We're both interested in your thoughts. Thanks in advance.

No, if the stock has a NPM cartouche on it, it was on a NPM carbine when it was accepted by the government, no mater what the sling cut marking might be. The letters you see under the NPM are FJA. No way that stock is original to your 1136XXX WRA carbine.
