What a strange quantity for a contract it seems. Why not 5500 ?

Maybe the contract was let on an even dollar amount!! And they produced however many units based on their unit cost.

I think I would have paid the asking price and left smiling - however, the same genes I have, mom would always ask "Hey, about $5 off?"

Knife collector did not want it as it has been oversharpened. They are worse than carbine collectors.
