Default S'G' crossed cannons orientation

Just wondering about the S'G' Grand rapids crossed Canon orientation that's shown on some stocks. I've seen some with the flaming bomb up, some of the flaming bomb down, some left and some right,... in relation to the actual S'G' stamp. Is the orientation of any direction acceptable and original (not a fake stamp) ,for this contractor?

I ask because the one that just sold on the for sale site, has the crossed Cannon upside down in relation to the S'G' stamp.
Thanks for any info

CC orientation didn't matter, could it find rotated in any direction.
With the Stock's Buttplate on the table, muzzle pointed up: Top of the S'G' should point toward muzzle / Front sight.

Thank you for that specific information. That's one less thing to be concerned with when trying to assess a carbine in these current days of collecting. Is much appreciated.
