I remember when the carbines came in from Korea some mental giant used a wire wheel to remove the markings and ruined a lot of nice stocks.

I was told by one of the Principles of Blue Sky and later Arl. Ord. that they replaced all the type 1 rear sights because they believed the US market would not buy a carbine with the early type sight, so they installed type 2 and 3 rear sights when they could.

I have two from when they came over a inland General Motors and a Rockola ,I had to pay $240.00 for them .I felt like it was a fair deal even though back then everyone stayed away from impoort marked guns like they had the plauge! Both are very nice guns and I just got another one in perfect condition in a trade for a colt Cobra .38 pistol in excellent condition.still had the korean stock .Should I refinish that stock and remove the Korean writing or would that be destroying some of its historical value?

Have you found an original Rockola juke box to go along with your new Rockola carbine? Something to think about.
