Default M1 carbine barrack gun rack help & help again with build

Hi
Would any one now the measurements of the M1 carbine barrack gun rack . How wide & how long it is at the bottom. I check the web for some blue prints but with no luck. It looks like a good winter project. Thanks for any help.

Remember seeing this a while ago. Might be a good starting point.

Holy Jumpin'! A complete M1A1 diagram and supplement. Thanks.

BOT, has anyone stored their carbines in racks like these for a long period of time? If so, how well do the carbines hold up?

After restoring my two racks I provided another member with detailed measurements for the racks via PM, but unfortunately I cannot locate the message in my sent folder. However I do have a few photos saved with a yard stick in the shot that show fairly accurate dims.

Never got to build it (yet) but using some of the dimensions I came up with this

this way I can see the make without pulling it out.
