They’re not scarce, probably quite common. However, NOS and still in the wrap is always desirable. $25 seems like a good price until you add shipping and tax, but even then probably not bad in today’s market.

Around my local shows it’s not hard to find good USGI mags for $25 or less. Union Hardware mags are very common and mostly I ignore them unless they are $10 or less. The last show I attended I got 2 excellent condition SG marked mags and 3 wrapped NOS mags for the sellers asking price of $50. I guess other areas of the country have it worse off to make these higher prices so common place now.

Does anyone know the story of these union hardware magazines? Was there a stockpile discovered in an abandoned building or something? There seems to be a lot of them floating around new in wax wrappers. And are these wartime magazines?

I got 3 of their NOS in wrap mags when they had them in stock a few months ago, hard to beat it for the price IMO.
