Default My WRA Field Grade Arrived Today

I received my Winchester field grade today. As I posted in the Winchester field grade thread, I'm happy as hell with it. I stickied for "a nice shooter with good measurements", and that's exactly what I received.

It has a undated Winchester barrel with MW of a touch over 2, and throat erosion of 4. Unmarked stock set that looks walnut to me. Uncut SA op rod, and a mix of other SA parts. Here are some pictures of it. I'm happier than a puppy with two peckers over this one. I like the "been there, done that" look, and it's exactly what I was hoping to receive.

Yes war time Winchester barrels did not have dates on them. Only late replacement (script) barrels had dates on them. Congrats on the nice looking rifle.

Thanks everyone for the compliments. I was hoping for something like this, but figured my luck wouldn't get it done for me. I was tickled pink when I opened the hard case!

When I looked at it I thought it might be a wartime gas cylinder, but I'm not for sure. Here's a couple more pictures of the gas cylinder. Any ideas on the front sight? It's the widest looking one I've ever seen.

Any pics of top of rear gas cylinder ring?
Front sight looks like it could be a WRA.
