I've got a S&W Model 10 marked very discreetly on the barrel in the flat for the ejector rod, too.

Although, If I ever attempt to do a vintage sniper match, I would use a 1903A4 over an M1D...

If these are Italian made surplus in original configuration, why would they not qualify?

Guess we just need to ask the committee:

6.2.3 Unlisted Rifles
Anyone who wishes to use a sniper rifle or scope in a CMP-sanctioned Vintage Sniper Rifle Match that is not listed in Table 7 and who feels it complies with the spirit and intent of these rules may contact CMP Competitions (competitions@thecmp.org, 419-635-2141, ext. 714/729) and request a ruling on whether it is an eligible rifle or scope. Documentation regarding the rifle or scope and its use for military sniper purposes must be provided with every request.

The one I have is an old springfield sporters import mark. Probably 70s or 80s.

It looks like at some time they had them with mount and M84.

Does anybody know how much they were then?

Same setup was 5k from Classic when they had them, likely identical import batch.

Thanks, I don't feel so bad about ordering one without scope and mount now. Didn't have a Breda or a 7.62 M1D or an Italian crate...I guess this scratches 3 itches.

Alright, does anybody know why when I add the rifle to my cart and proceed to check out that is as far as I can go? I have a account with them and have been trying all evening???
I tried on a desk top, lap top, cell phone, and ordered from them several times in the past! Any ideas?
