Agreed, this is a rough listing for a big money gun, and I am surprised this is the venue they chose.

Usually something like this I'd imagine seeing on Rock island's site. I did see quite a bit of Garand stuff on there but still. This obviously isn't your run of the mill rifle.

The cartouche is noticeably different than the photo in Scott Duff's "The M1 Garand: World War II".
