Central FL Garand people?
Are there any clubs or get-togethers, formal or informal, that meet regularly in the Central FL area? Looking to meet up and gain some knowledge from some people who know the Garand inside and out...preferably patient people who don't mind a new guy asking a bunch of dumb questions!

There is the port Malabar club. It's near cocoa beach. They do garand matches once a month.

|
Lakeland rifle and pistol club has monthly DCM matches(except summer months) and has a pre match Garand clinic. Assistance during the match is given freely to new shooters as are club supplied loaner Garand's and ammo.
Some sort of informal Garand enthusiast get together would be good idea.
