So, must one be a Vet to shoot in these matches? Looks like it was a fun day. The weather here in Phoenix was great on Sunday. I suspect it was supreme in Prescott.

The boss and I were thinking about going and should have. I so much want to shoot my Krag in competition and a fun shoot would have been a great place to try it. Ended up at Rio testing out a lead 'Harris' load for 30-06 (failure) and an off the wall load for an 8x50R that didn't turn out too bad. The range trip was frustrating at best.

That looks like the range off of Iron Springs road. I try to go there when we visit the In Laws. It is my get away time. Nice place and good people. I try to bring a load of cut cardboard (target mounts) for the guy. He says it is in short supply. They are trying to raise enough money to get a new range built over in Chino Valley.
