I hand picked a few Daisy Avanti 853 rifles from the CMP North store, a a few trips… couldn't pass one bringing at least one home every time I visited!

I am keeping one for myself and one for my son, I am offering the third here.

Really nice stock and metal, with some tiger striping. Zeroed the sights and popped some squirrels (to my wife's dismay), fun rifle!

The rifle you reference, is a current production Daisy 853 "Legend" is a new Daisy rifle shipped directly from Daisy, through the CMP.

The rifle offered above is U.S. marked, factory refurbished, functions as new… and almost looks it. plus, it has a killer stock (stocks on these were relatively "vanilla").

The rifle is as pictured with glove sights installed w/ insert, and all buttplate spacers installed. The "accessory rail" is machined into the receiver. It does not have a sling.

I'll sell for $200 shipped, if it makes you feel better.

I most certainly will, in time. I think the stage handling the package needed to water their horses, and get them out of the weather... It's in Iowa, hope all there are safe on this night.
