Rock River National Match Trigger

I'm with Larry on the RR triggers. The one in my 22 practice AR has been through maybe 12k rounds, plus who knows how much dry fire practice. Have em in my service rifle & my coyote gun as well. Sure, I know are "nicer" triggers out there, but I usually shoot Garand & M14, so the RR is a treat when I pull out an AR.

I've had a few loose the weight. RRA will swap them out under warranty. Not worth the hassle or worry. Now running Geiselle NMs in 3 service rifle lowers and a modern military SP1. Before Covid, you could find these on sale for right around $200..... Plus, the G triggers take up most of the weight on the first stage.

I have been shooting ATC since 2005 and all I have ever used is RRNM triggers. I check the weight regularly, and before matches and I get several years of service out of each of them. I keep an extra in my kit, so I can change one out in a pinch.

No complaints here.

Every trigger does not have to be a Gisselle but those who've shelled out the big bucks are often so biased they can't or won't admit other triggers are out there that do the job. Like some here, I've found RR triggers to be just fine but the issue of triggers is a very subjective "feel" thing .. imprecise with no cookie cutter solutions. I was , for example, just totally fine with a Timney trigger on my LR 1000 yd rifle up until I experienced a Jewel trigger on a friends LR rifle and I realized I had to deep six the Timney and get a Jewel.

I always liked the RRNM triggers.
If you like that Jewel, wait until you try a trigger tech, especially if you want a 2 stage.

Like said bend hammer spring. The RRA / Armalite type match trigger is well known for getting lighter or loosing 2nd stage as it wears in but are good triggers if adjusted right.

Geissele is a nice trigger but not bullet proof just look at the constant line of people getting Geisseles Fixed / re adjusted at Perry every year.

The most trouble free match trigger I 've used is the old Jewel, in more than twenty five plus yrs and thousands of rounds I 've moved the adjustment leg twice to keep it above 4.5

Kreiger / Wisconsin are also excellent.
