Default Is this GAW cartouche real?
I bought this stock about 15 years ago before being aware of how common place reproductions are. The stock shows typical use, but I would rate it as very good. The wear of the cartouche seems consistent with the wear to the stock. The stock is also marked with an "MR" on the left side, I believe that indicates it was overhauled at Mt. Rainer Ordnance Depot. Do you think this cartouche is original?
