Why does the tag say "welded" in the pictures?

The oprod tab slot looks a little disfigured. Maybe a poor repair. You would think full disclosure would be appropriate.

What is also odd about this listing is that no throat or muzzle measurement is given. Hope it doesn't have a welded plug in the chamber. Doesn't look like in that one picture that shows a little of the breech, but hard to tell for sure. You would think the "welded" notation would be defined more clearly.

Guys I looked closer, the one picture of the assembly, think it is the 2nd one in the string, shows a weld bead on the receiver/barrel joint. This weld is about the 11 o'clock position. Is a welded former ceremonial rifle it looks like. Really POOR way to describe it, someone is going to get surprised maybe.

Looks like someone saw our posts, no problem offering something like this but to not disclose the fact the B/R was welded is no good. Some here would have seen the discussion but many using that auction are not on the Forum. Glad they did the right thing.

This is really odd, several years ago I tried to purchase a returned ceremonial rifle for a friend because he had used it in like a billion ceremonies, knowing fully well what it was, I was told that because it was a ceremonial rifle CMP would not sell it. And no further explanation was needed. Then there' s this.

Several years ago during the 6M sale I was accidentally sent a ceremonial rifle; Jason, you helped me ID it as such. Barrel was welded to the receiver, and there was a small weld between the gas cylinder and screw, but otherwise it was fully functional.
