You can usually "feel" the slight vibration as the round passes through the target as you hold the frame, but one puller/scorer watches the target also to verify, in my experience. The round also seems "louder" or has a snappier crack as it passes overhead of the target your scoring compared to the other targets next to you. It's noticeable.
