Restrictions on any auto loader with a detachable mag with a pistol grip, flash suppressor or bayonet lug . Any magazine over 10 rounds with the exception of M1 carbine mags made before 1972 can be kept but must be registered. Any auto loading rifle or shotgun that looks remotely military.
That said, its estimated that less than 25% of these type of arms are registered with the NYSafe Act. Eddie PS New York City has its own set of draconian rules. |

When I lived in NY I had friends who called themselves unconvicted felons… I’ve yet to hear statistics showing crime rates dropped after the Safe Act was passed.
